Testing as a Service (Taas) for a large Triple Play Operator
Our client is one of the biggest triple play telecom operators in Belgium. Their product portfolio includes digital television, telephony and broadband internet services. The client noticed stability issues with the production environment for their different products. To keep track of these issues and validate the stability and overall quality they wanted to perform daily tests. The resulting workload would normally require a team of test engineers performing repetitive test cases. That's when they recognised that outsourcing this to Resillion and using Testing as a Service (TaaS) would deliver the frequency of testing required along with the quality. Without needing to take on extra staff they could be assured that their product quality was both high and consistent.
Helping Deliver Broadcasting Standards Compliance for Italy’s Premier Broadcaster: TIVU
Resillion has worked with the Italian organisation HD Forum Italia for a number of years and been closely involved in the country’s rollout of the ‘Tivù’ platform. Working with HD Forum Italia (HDFI), Resillion set up a workshop to demonstrate the various ways in which the company had worked with other broadcasters across Europe to deliver digital TV and HbbTV projects. Resillion has been appointed to design and implement the essential test suites for the preparation and certification of ‘Tivù’ compliant receivers.
Test Automation & Performance Monitoring for ComHem
Resillion is a partner for Tele2, the European telecommunications operator that is based in Sweden. We have provided automated testing and service validation for the company’s new Ultra HD/4K TV Hub. In this hub Tele2 has launched the world’s first major ‘Android N’ deployment which is based on Android TV Operator Tier. Tele2 uses Resillion’s testwizard test automation system to deliver automated testing and provide performance monitoring for quality assurance across Tele2’s branded services, ‘Tele2 Play’ and ‘Boxer’.
